But that, of course, would catch WALL-E’s attention, and EVE didn’t want that. She had slept happily, and that was a nice change, but now morning was approaching and the humans were coming out again. She spotted two familiar forms, a man and a woman WALL-E had made friends with. They were holding hands. The woman waved her rounded fingers at her as she passed, and EVE waved back.

He wiped the dust she had kicked up off his eyes quickly, not wanting to miss a moment of her acrobatics. The moment the ship was gone and she took off, he knew that she was special. While a tad oblivious to the way his fellow machine was supposed to act, he had seen he billboards his creators has put up of the other WALL-Es, so a part of him knew he was different. That same part of him knew she was different, and the more he saw that throughout the day, when she nice to his pet and when she showed emotions, the more that part of himself overthrew the rest.

Hi , have you heard of Fanfiction.com.
It is a site devoted entirely to fan fiction.
I think you should focus on these 2 sites : devient art (for short stories) and fanfiction (for longer stories).
Here are a few ideas ; You should do the whole story from Eve's perspective. maybe starting from her arrival on the earth to the end of the movie. the only snag i can think of would be when Eva shuts down when she finds the plant. The way to get around this that I can think of is to protray the time as ''dreams''. Maybee featuring Wall.E protecting and caring for her.
Or you could start with her programing or her training/tests or maybee from her perspective as she started getting her personality or tell the story of how she got her emotional glitch.
You could also go into after the movie. Telling the story of Eve and Wall.E traveling/exploring the world and/or helping rebuild.
Back to fanfiction , people on fanfiction.com appreciate stories longer than 2000 words. But there are some good short stories that people like. There are lots of friendly people there to ask for creative critisism. So don't be shy. : ) It is really easy to set up an accout there. If you reply before making stories there I could reqeust a Wall.E category.
